What is your process for making soap?
I use the traditional, old-fashioned cold soap process. where oils and butters are melted then combined with a lye (sodium hydroxide) solution. This creates a chemical reaction known as saponification. Saponification converts the oils into soap, eliminating all lye molecules, and leaving behind a safe, skin loving bar of soap.
How can I make my bar of soap last longer?
Allow the bar to dry properly between use, and never leave in standing water. Use a well draining soap dish or soap rack and make sure the soap is in a well ventilated area.
How big are your soap bars?
The soap bars are marked with an average weight. Full bars are anywhere from 5- 5.5 oz, and half bars are about 2.0 – 3.0 oz. The weight is measured at the time of cutting, so there may be variances based on dry time and evaporation of water over time.
What is your return policy?
Due to COVID and overall hygiene concerns, I have a no returns policy. I will however, make it right by crediting you back, or having you select a new bar of soap that may fit your expectations better. I value my customers satisfaction!
Why do some bars have spots or irregularities?
Since my soaps are homemade goods, they will have slight variations in color and design from batch to batch. Know, that the ingredients are still high quality and safe for use. Each batch is pH tested directly before and after curing.
I have sensitive skin. Is your soap recommended?
Please be sure to read the ingredients list for each bar of soap prior to purchase to ensure there are no irritants that may affect your skin. I do offer bars that are free of all fragrances and color.
Are your soaps Gluten Free and made in a Nut-free facility?

Do your soaps have healing properties?
I am not a medical or healthcare professional and do not claim that any of my soaps have an effect on your overall health. Some properties of known ingredients are listed, but please complete your own research prior to purchase.
How do you price your soaps?
Typically any bar that is created with organic ingredients, essential oils, or multiple butters in the recipe will be priced higher. Those bars that are more simple in nature will be priced lower. Often times, I will offer soap at a discount due to aesthetic reasons- however those soaps are safe for use.
